2. Do I need a passport?
Effective January 8, 2007: All travelers, including U.S. citizens, and travelers to and from the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe and Canada must have a passport or other accepted document to enter or re-enter the United States. 3. What if I'm not a US citizen?
Non US citizens should contact their consulate for proper ID requirements. Passengers who are denied boarding or entry for improper documentation will receive no refund.

4. What if I find a lower price?
Sun Splash Tours is so confident in it's packages that we will match or beat any legitimately advertised price. Call us if you find a lower price.

5. What about meals?
Free meal plans are offered for certain locations (Jamaica and Mexico) as an early booking incentive (see home page). They are "dine around " plans at local restaurants. Some hotels do offer "All-Inclusive" packages where meals and drinks at the hotel are included in the price of the packages.

6. What about a hotel security/damage deposit?
Most hotels require a refundable deposit for each room and is taken at check-in. The deposit range is from $20 - $100 per person. This is not included in your package. Some hotels require cash deposit, while others will take a credit card imprint. The bottom line is don't trash your room!

7. When do I receive Trip Documents/Tickets?
Tickets are emailed to you via E tickets 5-7 days prior to departure. If you do not have an email address, call us for other arrangements. Instant email confirmations/invoices are sent upon booking your trip. If paper tickets are neccesary, we will need an accurate address to deliver them to.

8. When do I receive our flight times?
You may check your account by logging on to our website to view flight times. Flight times are usually available 10-14 days prior to the departure weekend. In some cases, we may have times about 3 weeks prior to your departure.

9. Does my departure day affect the length of my vacation?
Not at all, for 7 night packages, our flights are either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. If you leave on a Friday, you return on a Friday, Saturday to Saturday, etc. For our 4 night packages, we use Saturday, Sunday, or Monday departures.

10. Does Sun Splash Tours provide chaperones?
No, but our on-site staff will be on location to assist as the need arises 24 hours a day. We treat you as responsible adults. However, a complete orientation will be given upon arrival and staff are present at all parties and events. There is also an on-site office.

11. How much spending money do I need?
While everybody's spending habits are different, our experience has shown, that on average, most students need approximately $350 for food and activities for the week. You will save money by pre-purchasing our "Xtreme" Party Package (for International Destinations Only) By pre-purchasing, you wont have to pay $20-$40 per night for the nightclubs/evening events.

12. Should I take cash or travelers' checks?
We suggest a combination of both. While you will need some cash, for security reasons keep the bulk of your spending money as travelers' checks.

13. What happens when we arrive in Mexico, The Caribbean or Europe?
As soon as you clear Customs, our on-site staff will direct you to the proper transfer buses where you will then be taken to "Orientation" where our reps will give you the run down on the week. What to do? Where to go? What not to do? Etc.

14. Is Travel Protection available?
Yes, and it is strongly recommended. It provides reimbursement (up to a specific amount) for hospital and medical expenses, emergency transportation, your investment in the trip if you cancel, lost and damaged baggage, flight delay costs etc. You are automatically billed for the travel protection plan which you may decline by simply not paying the amount indicated, declining it online or by emailing us a request to decline the Travel Protection Plan.

15. What if I have to cancel or change my reservation?
Changes may be accepted as long as our suppliers (hotel, airline, etc.) can accommodate the request. Sun Splash Tours cannot guarantee that your request can be accommodated, however we will make every effort on your behalf. All changes are request only and must be sent as a written request to info@sunsplashtours.com for approval. A minimum of a $30 administrative fee, along with any other applicable charges will be applied. (Adding a passenger or upgrading a package is not considered a change). Cancellations are subject to the following schedule: 1. For cancellations received prior to December 15th a full refund less nonrefundable deposit per person. Exception: Unless a special premium flight was booked that required a higher deposit amount, in which case the higher deposit amount will be forfeited. Any refund due back for credit card payments will incur a 5% transaction fee. 2. For cancellations received on or after December 15th there will be no refund. Any refund due will be made prior to May 1st. Cancellation must be sent by written notice via mail, email or by fax and will only be effective when Sun Splash Tours, Inc. is in receipt of such cancellation. It is the customerís responsibility to confirm receipt of the cancellation. Sun Splash Tours strongly advises the purchase of the Travel Protection Plan.

16. Can someone take my place on the reservation?
If approved by Sun Splash Tours and the Airline, a name change is a possibility. A minimum of a $50 fee will apply to all changes plus any airline imposed fees. Name change requests must be sent to info@sunsplashtours.com for approval. If the name change is approved, the new passenger will be booked at the current published package rate (no early booking incentives will apply). When a credit card is used, the new passenger must pay in full and the original passenger will be refunded less the applicable fees. When a passenger pays with a check the new passenger will be booked at the current published rate (no early booking incentives will apply) and the funds will be transferred to the new passenger less any applicable fees.
