he has what we call a Big Bamboo!

It was still early in the week, but there are always the select few that like to test the international waters. My phone rang, and not to my surprise, it was one of our Onsite Representatives telling me the hilarious story of the jock from UW-Madison who simply went off the deep end!

Jack and Rob had endured a brutal Wisconsin winter but Spring Break was just around the corner. As freshman roommates they were friends, but really didn't know each other that well. Jack was a slob and Rob drank WAY to much beer, but that's about all they knew about one another.

As the pair boarded their 6:30am Air Jamaica they were psyched to discover that the drinking age in Jamaica being 16 so they got beer on the plane! What was even more amazing, the super hot flight attendant told them as long as they were cool, shed be back to bring them refills throughout the duration of the flight. By the end of the flight, Rob had consumed twice as many brews as his roommate. Typical.

Feeling good as they landed in Montego Bay, the pair boarded transfer to Negril. After a little over an hour they rolled into Margaritaville, for the exciting Sun Splash Tours welcome orientation. Working in true Spring Break style, there was a tent with free sweet rum drinks to enjoy as the Onsite Reps told travelers about their week ahead.

It wasn't until the following day when the guy's trip started to go downhill. We got an urgent call from the hotel:

"One of your students is completely naked and is running after one of the house cleaners and he has what we call a Big Bamboo." -Hotel Manager

"You mean a Boner?" Onsite Rep asked.

"Yes. Yes! Hurry Mon, so we do not have to get the police down here!" - Hotel Manager

By the time our Rep got to the hotel Jack had restrained Rob on a deck chair by the pool, still naked but with a towel wrapped around necessary parts. As is the case with all Spring Break incidents, Rob told our Rep he had no recollection of his actions and couldn't figure out why he was naked by the pool with Jack!

With the help of our Onsite Rep, Rob was allowed to stay as a hotel guest, provided he agreed to keep himself covered for the rest of the week. We're sure his utter embarrassment was punishment enough, as he really was the butt of all jokes (no pun intended) for the rest of the week. Good luck meeting girls after that experience!

Moral of the Story: Be careful when mixing Red Stripe Jamaican beer with sweet rum drinks, the combination may make you take your clothes off!
